Maddaloni-GrecoL’azzurro Giovanni Greco inizia bene la sua marcia nel tabellone principale del torneo internazionale irlandese, battendo al primo turno l’inglese Michael Spencer-Smith (21-12; 21-17). Il passaggio al secondo turno prevede per l’italiano lo scontro con il tedesco Marcel Reuter (testa di serie n°6 del tabellone) vincente contro il francese Baumann. Ora di gioco 17:20 di questo pomeriggio.  

Macth negativo invece per Rosario Maddaloni fermato al primo turno del singolo dal francese Cajot (21-1222-20).
