Dopo essersi spinto fino alla finale l'azzurro Giovanni Toti è stato fermato nell'atto conclusivo del Guatemala International Series dal padrone di casa Kevin Cordon. Il guatemalteca ha superato Toti in due set (21-8; 21-19).
