Gli Azzurrini con la mascotte dei BWF World Junior ChampionshipsLima - Si sono fermati ai trentaduesimi di finale Fabio Caponio e Lukas Osele nel singolare maschile ai BWF World Junior Championships. Caponio è stato sconfitto in due set (21-8; 21-10) dal Malese Seng Zoe Yeoh mentre Osele non è riuscito a superare il Cinese di Hong Kong Chan Yin Chak che ha vinto in due set (21-12; 21-15).

Nel continuo del programma, nella serata scenderanno in campo Lukas Osele e Kevin Strobl nel doppio maschile e Silvia Garino e Marah Punter nel doppio femminile per il loro debutto in questa specialità.
