All'apertura delle gare è intervenuto il Segretario Generale FIBa Giovanni Esposito con un discorso di benventuto ed un in bocca al lupo a tutte le squadre partecipanti. Presenti i Consiglieri Federali Alessandro Bailetti, Davide Fragnito e Giuseppe Calò. Al termine degli incontri si è svolta la premiazione offerta dal Comitato Regionale Lazio con l'intervento del Presidente Regionale Claudio Morino.
